Flexibility before traveling

Flexible initial deposit

The amount of the initial deposit will be defined individually, according to the characteristics of your itinerary, in order to give you the greatest flexibility when booking.

Flexible payments

Secure your trip with an initial deposit and organize the rest of payments on the dates of your convenience. Just make sure you have paid in full 31 days prior to the start date of the trip.

Cancellation policy

If you are forced to cancel your trip, the following policies will apply. We have extended deadlines and reduced the penalty percentages:

  • Cancellations up to 31 days before the departure date: the initial deposit will be refundable or can be used as a credit for a future trip, for a period of 2 years (subject to availability and seasonality). All vendor expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with each vendor’s policy. In most cases, we have obtained guarantees from suppliers that they will issue refunds or coupons so that you can rebook your trip at a later date, at no additional charge. Of course, there are exceptions, and if this is the case, we will endeavor to get most of your money back from our partners with no guarantees. Consult with our team if you have any questions or if you want to make specific requirements. We can change any previously booked flight, but this may result in additional cancellation and alteration charges imposed by the airline.
  • Cancellations within 30 days before the date of the trip: The initial deposit will not be refundable (but it is possible to defer it). We will endeavor to recover your funds from our providers, but we cannot guarantee the amounts. Airlines tend to have stricter refund policies that we cannot guarantee any refund or credit memo.

* We are aware that each case is different, so we promise that, if you are forced to cancel your trip, we will do everything possible to recover expenses already incurred and offer them a credit that they can use within a period of 2 years.

Protection and Insurance

It is important and necessary to have complete health insurance prior to your trip that covers your needs and situation in particular, taking into account the scenarios that may arise due to the current global pandemic. If you consider it necessary, there are insurers that also offer trip cancellation insurance. We recommend you find out about them as they can be very necessary in this new reality. In case you want us to advise you on this, we will be happy to help you.

 

Confidence and security when traveling

To ensure the well-being and safety of our travelers throughout our operational chain, at Peru Well Served we follow the hygiene and safety measures and protocols established by the Ministry of Health of Peru (MINSA) and the World Travel & Tourism Council ( WTTC).

Itineraries that prioritize health

We have reviewed all of our itineraries and experiences to minimize contact with other travelers and offer only the best and safest experiences and accommodation options.

Trained staff ready to assist you

Our hosts and guides are prepared to comply with the new security protocols, deliver the appropriate information to the passenger, monitor the health of our travelers and follow the established protocols in case a traveler shows symptoms or contracts COVID-19. They will provide you with disinfection and personal hygiene resources at all times of the trip and will help you if you need to contact a doctor.

Our team will keep you informed before and during your trip, with updates and official news about the situation in each visited destination.

Boutique accommodations

All our accommodation partners are first-rate operators, who have known how to respond to the new practices of sanitation, hygiene and distancing in their properties. At this juncture, we recommend choosing smaller hotels or private houses / apartments. Of course, we have options to recommend you.

Private transportation, guides and hosts

All of our itineraries have always included private vehicles and guides for our travelers. Today we have reduced the capacity of vehicles to ensure social distancing during transfers. The health of all our staff and drivers is constantly monitored, since taking care of you is our priority.

 

We trust that you will also be responsible and take care of our team

That is why we will ask you to fulfill the following promise:

  • You will fill out an online questionnaire 72 hours before traveling that certifies that they have no symptoms of COVID-19.
  • You will follow the instructions related to hygiene and safety given by the Peru Well Served team and by their guide, before and at all times of their trip.
  • You will maintain good hygiene practice.
  • You will comply with the guidelines provided by local authorities in Peru, such as social distancing, use of masks where necessary, and hand washing.
  • You will stay home in the event that:
    • Someone close to you shows symptoms related to COVID-19.
    • Have been exposed or have been tested positive for COVID-19.
    • Are diagnosed with a serious medical condition that makes you vulnerable.
    • Experience great concern about contracting COVID-19.

Important notes:

  • Our trips are tailor-made, so the payment and cancellation policies for each trip will be adapted flexibly according to the services booked.
  • Some exceptions may apply to reservations that include certain hotels or reservations for groups larger than 5 people.
