Tour Plan

1

Day 1:

We will pick you up to take our flight to Cusco early in the morning. Upon arrival, our team will welcome you at the Cusco airport, and from there, you'll be transferred to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. You will start by visiting Pisac, a charming little town famous for its artisanal market.  Then, we will take you to a charming colonial hacienda and farm for your first gastronomic experience in Cusco. You will meet Maria del Pilar and Yussef, third-generation producers of giant white corn. Finally, you will arrive at your hotel for some well-deserved rest.
2

Day 2:

A morning bike tour will allow you to discover the Sacred Valley differently and enjoy its charming views. You will finish the route with a visit to the Valle Sagrado Brewing Company for a tasting of craft beers and an organic snack. After lunch, you will visit the Ollantaytambo fortress in depth. A local guide will accompany you through the paths of this important military, religious and administrative center of the Inca Empire.
3

Day 3:

You will catch a train out of Ollantaytambo, running along the Urubamba River. After getting off, you will cross a suspension bridge in Chachabamba and begin a three-hour ascent to the ruins of Wiñay Wayna. The Inca Trail traverses the ridge above Machu Picchu to finally reach Intipunku, the Door of the Sun, from where the trail descends until it reaches Machu Picchu proper. A unique and unforgettable experience.
4

Day 4:

A half-hour bus ride will take you from Aguas Calientes to the citadel for a guided tour of Machu Picchu that, on average, lasts three hours. You will enjoy amazing views and learn about Andean life, traveling back in time. In the afternoon, you will board the train back to the Sacred Valley.
5

Day 5:

This morning, a van will pick you up from the hotel and take you to Skylodge Suites. To reach the capsules you will ascend 400 meters of rock face, with the help of metal steps and a lifeline to keep you 100% safe. The climb of Via Ferrata lasts about an hour and a half and includes crossing a suspension bridge. In the afternoon, you will be transferred back to Cusco. Just before entering the city proper, you will visit the megalithic Inca complex of Sacsayhuaman, accompanied by a private guide.  For an additional cost, you can spend the night in one of the clear capsules suspended from cliffs overlooking the Sacred Valley.
6

Day 6:

A guide will pick you up in a car and take you to the south of Cusco to visit the astonishing Palcoyo Rainbow Mountain. After a few hours of a car ride, you will hike the last stretch of the way at your own pace - you will feel the effort but the reward is well worth it. You will see a landscape unlike any other that seems to be from another world. Optionally, you can hire a horse if you prefer horse riding to hiking.
7

Day 7:

In the company of your private tour guide, you will visit San Pedro Market—the heart of Cusco’s gastronomy —to delve into the wonder of Andean delicacies, by tasting tamales, chicharrones, native fruits, cheese, and bread, among other flavors. Later, visit the highlights of the City of Cusco, strolling across the Main Square, visiting the opulent Qorikancha, and wandering around San Blas neighborhood to access the secrets only available to locals.  In the afternoon, you will return to Cusco airport and catch your flight back to Lima.
