Day-by-day itinerary
Today we will meet you at the Lima airport and transfer you to your hotel.
Today you will experience a rich cultural and gastronomic walking tour through the Historic Center of Lima. The route begins with a traditional Peruvian breakfast: bread with chicharrón. Then, you will visit a beautiful Franciscan monastery and a colonial house dating back to the mid-16th century, where you can learn about life during the founding era of Lima. Passing by the Cathedral of Lima and the Plaza de Armas, you will witness the ceremonial changing of the guard at the Presidential Palace.
Walking along Jirón de la Unión, one of the most commercial streets in Lima, you will reach Plaza San Martín, where the historic Hotel Bolívar is located. This hotel was built to celebrate the centenary of independence and is said to serve one of the best pisco sours in Peru. Curious to try it? You will have it as an appetizer to whet your appetite.
Lunch will be at a famous local restaurant that serves generous portions of traditional Peruvian food.
Lima offers us a great variety of delicious ceviches and on this tour you will learn about their interesting history and evolution. You will taste from the most traditional ceviches to the most innovative fusions and you will discover that both the market ceviches (or huarique) and those from award-winning restaurants have their own charm.
The tour will begin with a visit to a local market to learn about the ingredients of our signature dish and other Peruvian products. You will try your first ceviche in a Creole food tavern: the traditional ceviche with octopus chicharrón. Then, in a local ceviche restaurant, you will taste a “modern” ceviche, with avocado and capers. Finally, you will try an Amazonian ceviche in a renowned restaurant included in “The World’s 50 Best Restaurants”.
On this day, you can choose between two adventure experiences to enjoy and step out of the ordinary.
After a good breakfast, begin the long-awaited excursion to Machu Picchu. A one-and-a-half-hour train ride followed by a half-hour bus ride will take you to the citadel for a guided tour that typically lasts three hours. There, you will enjoy amazing views and learn about Andean life, stepping back in time.
In the afternoon, you will return to the town of Aguas Calientes. You will have free time for lunch and then take the train back to Ollantaytambo. From there, your private transportation will take you to your hotel in the Sacred Valley.
Water Activities in the Huaypo Lagoon with Pachamanca Lunch
This experience takes place on the shores of Huaypo, a fascinating lake surrounded by snowy mountains and farmland. Here you will witness the tradition and rituals behind the ancient technique of Pachamanca. The Incas believed that cooking underground food was a way to show respect to Mother Earth or Pachamama, as the food was returned to the earth before consumption. The preparation of Pachamanca was not only an offering to the land but also a way to celebrate life. While the earth works its magic with the ingredients, enjoy various activities around the lake, such as textile demonstrations, gentle hikes, and water sports like rowing or kayaking.
Once ready, savor the flavors of Andean culture in this lunch, accompanied by cold beers, wines, and “chilcanos” –the magical recipe for an unparalleled gastronomic, adventurous, and relaxing experience.
Transfer from the Hotel in Sacred Valley to the Hotel in Cusco.
Today you will visit the center of Cusco's gastronomy, the San Pedro Market, to learn about the incredible Andean products and taste some of them, such as tamales, chicharrones, local fruits, cheeses, and breads.
Then, you will tour the main attractions of the city of Cusco, such as the Plaza de Armas, the Koricancha temple, and the artistic neighborhood of San Blas, discovering the secrets known only to locals. At the end of this walk, you will recharge with a delicious lunch at a local restaurant and conclude the day by visiting the megalithic Inca ceremonial fortress of Sacsayhuamán.
You will end the day with a delicious three-course dinner at a restaurant renowned for its innovative dishes that revitalize traditional Andean cuisine by blending it with international techniques.

Art and Gastronomy in Callao Monumental
A fantastic combination of elements: Peru's main port, ancient architecture, urban art and gastronomy. The tour will begin in La Punta, a traditional Lima seaside resort, and then visit Callao Monumental, the epicenter of mural art that houses cutting-edge art galleries alongside classic seafood restaurants. During this tour, you will visit various establishments and meet the people who created them, learning about their stories and traditions. At each stop, you will taste different dishes from Callao such as the classic bread with silverside or tiger's milk in the Callao style.
At the appropriate time we will transfer you to the Lima airport for your flight.
