Lima, vineyards and Nazca Lines
Today you will explore the artsy side of Callao, the seaport town: a place where various cultures merge. You will find colonial forts, European-style squares, urban art, and excellent seafood. Then, you will try traditional Peruvian dishes through an innovative tasting menu, and end the day with a luxurious Nikkei dinner.
You will visit the local market to taste and learn about our exotic fruits and other unique Peruvian products. Lunch will be a very local experience in which you will taste the flavors of the coast, highlands,, and rainforest of Peru, all in one place! In the afternoon, you will have a four-hour ride to the small city of Ica, the heart of Peru’s winemaking.
You will wake up in a beautiful Hacienda in Ica and take a guided tour through its vineyards. Having a sparkling wine while watching the sunset from the viewpoint and a fun tasting of our Peruvian wines is the best way to close this day.
You will fly over the mysterious Nazca lines drawn in the desert over 2000 years ago, and now listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Later, you will visit the oldest distillery in America and learn its history on a personalized tour led by local guides. You will also enjoy an exquisite country lunch along with a Peruvian Paso Horse show. Finally, you will do a tasting of the winery’s award-winning Piscos guided by experts.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will return to Lima, and at the appropriate time, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
